, i now have my tank full
1 julidochromis transcriptus,one died
1 cavlus
2 comps
2 'Lamprologus' caudopunctatus
10 Cyprichromis leptosoma (Mpulungu)breeding croup
4 Lamprologus` ocellatus (Gold) 2 males and 2 females both pairs breeding
4 Neolamprologus leleupi
2 marlieri, breeding pair
, im guessing i have too many in the tank but wondered which are the best to keep
Considering your tank is only about 50 gallons the amount of fish is definitely too much.
Reduce the stocking to Cyps, one pair of rockdweller and one group of shelldwellers or Cyps, and 2 pairs of rockdwellers.
The caudos might be a problem with shellies since they will use them if they feel like though in the wild they are typically rockdwellers.
Neo. leleupi and shelldwellers is also an iffy mix since some folks claim that they can and will eat fry or harm/kill/eat an adult in attemp to get to fry inside the shell.

I would personally keep the Cyps, occies and J. marlieri.
