Hey guys im stocking my south american/ central american side of my fish store with 12 diff. species. Im just curious if you walked into ur local lfs what would you like to see?

First Oscars because c'mon that's like a lfs staple fish. Second maybe some jack dempseys, geophagus, green terrors, Jaguars, maybe some severums, dovii, umbii, trimacs. There is really a million ways you can go. It all depends on what you want in your store and the direction/image your shooting for. Like do you want to be a higher end fish store or a more avarage type of fish store or a little bit of both. do you want have all out cichlids or even distributed types of fish not just cichlids. If you are going all out cichlids get some of the more harder to get types and get a large variety. If you want to supply many types of fish not just cichlids get a few avarage types of cichlids and maybe provide one or two more harder to find varietys. Then again not even sure how I plan handle this exact thing/predicament when I start a lfs so hopefully somebody else chimes in :)

The stores name is the evolved fish its a strictly cichlid fish store im definetly putting festae and jags in there doviis and red texas but other wise im still losti want fish u dont find in pet stores u know

get some angels, black water . like alums. oops strike that,. matter of fact strike jag, Oscars and JD. folks need to know about these fish, care and tank size before they buy these fish. and dovii? really? going to sell them to a walk in?

feeling punked.

no definetly not going to just sell a dovii to walk ins but if the right person walks in i want them on hand and im a firm believer in educating the customer about there fish before i sell them to them lol

Paratheraps!!!!!

You need to get a monster display tank with these fish fully grown to blow people away with the size and colors of these freshwater beauties
