I have my one Oscar in a 50G by itself, but I would have no problem putting two in a 75G as long as they get along and the filtration is good. I think you're taking the 50 gallons per Oscar rule of thumb a little too literally. You don't need 300 gallons for 6 Oscars. Most people kept 2 oscars and a pleco in a 55 a couple of years ago and it was considered just right and they have been kept well too - 10 years or so healthily (read this on another thread concerning what has changed in fishkeeping from the past). I don't like to keep Oscars or any fish that reaches 12" or more in a 55 though because it is not wide enough. I think 75G is fine for 2 oscars.

OK thanks i have two 3 inch Os now, but they are going soon as the dont like my arow, and are beating him up so i had to move him into a 30g which is way to small for him or the O's

It's just me but I would treat an aro like a king and move the oscars to the 30 gallon until the aro gets a lot bigger and tougher.

but the arow is scared of every thing, bit of a chicken.
What about 2 or 3 GTs in my 75?

what about about like 6 firemouths Thorichthys meeki. they display really well when kept in a group, they are not too mean but look the part when flaring their throats.

or some bichirs, they fantasic and i love watching mine chase and catch the feeder goldfish

i like firemouths but i want somthing different cos i just got rid of one cos the other died and it was stressed, and i have a hard time looking for 1 bichir let alone as many as it takes to fill a 75 gallon. any other ideas?

I would go with 3 Electric Blue Jack Dempsys, and a couple Clown Loaches!!!
