Stocking Question

I have an 85G tank with these fish in it.

Green Terror
Green Severum
7 Silver Dollars
2 Peacock Eels
2 Kising Gourami's

Right now the only fish that are fully grown are the Silver Dollars at 6". The rest of the fish are about 4". I have an AC 110 on the tank and am looking for another.

Can I add an oscar?

I wouldnt. Oscars need a lot of room, and theyre really messy fish. I would even suggest a bigger tank for what youve got in there, the green terror and the severum will get pretty big, but you can manage with what youve got if you keep up with the wc once they get big. But as far as an Oscar, they are messy fish who get real big and need a lot of room.

I would not suggest it either. I would suggest some addittional filtration for what you have.

If yu are adding an Osca to that 85(g), add another HOB(for mechanical) and a canister(for biological) filter....As like most hobbyist, start small with the fish, maybe 2 o 3 inches....If you are planning on keeping all those fish together, upgrade to a mch larger tank in a couple months...But, an 85(g), preferrably a 100g, is best for a single Oscar....

yea you seem full already and under filtered (ive got more filtration on a 55). I would go with another AC110 really quick. Just full with mech and scrubbies
