I added 8 Buenos Aires Tetras for a total of 10.
20 tetras is really neat as they school, or even sometimes shoal separately but together with their species.

The Salvini are finally starting to tinge yellow. Jack Dempsey chases the Salvini but doesn't hurt them so far.

The JD is growing fast, Salvini #2 is coloring up nicely. JD chases but doesn't injure. Salvini #1 is smaller but still active. The Buenos Aires Tetras fin nip each other terribly to the point I lost one. The Diamond Tetras are great and none are missing.

This guy was at the local LFS, he was with a bunch of Red Devils that beat him up badly. He would have died if he stayed much longer. Got em for half price but he's settling in nicely. He's quite shy from his beating I imagine but is eating.

I plan to remove the smaller Salvini if there is fighting, so far he's the boss and my JD is submissive to him.

They definitely did a number on her tail. She looks good though all things considering. Hopefully your male and female will get along.
