Usually raised at a small size midas learn to tolerate their tank mates, especially the more the merrier. I dont think you'll have a problem as long as your oscar doesnt eat it. Ive had a similar set up for years.

Midas came in, both about the same size, 3 inches or so oscar pushing 8. He doesent go after them at all and they don't show any aggresion at all. Should I have no decor, or a big rock or something at each side?

I had Oscars and midevils before. It's not fun. Midevils have sharper teeth and and are way more aggressive. In the end when they are of comparable sizes, the Oscars will lose out on territorial claims and you'll end up with highly stressed Oscars. Too much for being a good fish keeper.

Depends totally on individual fish. But my Midas don't go looking for fights. As long as the Oscar keeps his distance they should be fine. At least until someone lays eggs.
