wat to stock in a 29 gallon
i have a artc and lima in there as a grow out tank they can be moved if need
maybe something colorful:D

Well wont be long before you need to move them. Maybe when they hit 5-6". The Asian Red tail Catfish would wipe out most fish anyway, so I wouldnt advise putting anything in there for the time being. Convicts may hold thier own. But they arent a show stunner.

k
well im hoping to get a larger tank over 100 gallons soon
and i can move them around also i can put them in a 75 gallon tank

whoa, just be careful with that artc. IN my experience, they kill everything. It will be no fun to have a 100g tank with only one fish in it

i plan on gettin rid of the artc as it gets older
around 6-7 inches

how big do they get and are they like the redtailed catfish?

They get even BIGGER and IMO the most aggressive of catfish. They are real terrors when they want to be. Not like the puppy RTC's who you can give them belly rubs and all that lovey dovey stuff. Makes me want an RTC Sooo Bad! We had one for a while in a 240, but it wasn't ours we were holding it for 4 months while the owner was on a buissness trip. One of the best fish I have ever set eyes on. It used to be sooo social too. For that 29 i say a Blue Acara. Another option would be some small Mbuna.

i thought artc only got to 36" and rtc got over 48"

RTC are like dogs. They actually seem to like you. ARTC are like cats, when you aren't providing a service, keep away.

mine is pretty shy hes around two inches right now and he rarely comes
out even wen the lights go out
