Red wolf would kill those pikes... My red wolf killed danios and other tankmates I had him/she with and they were twice the size of him/her

Woah you must have had him since he was so tiny. Hard to imagine a twice it's size danio :0. From what I read won't fit into its mouth is mostly safe, but I also hear its temperament of the individual wolf. Could be wrong

Hi exotic! I'm very anxious to put my hand in a kuda group! Which kuda do you have?

Lix I buy my fishes from a seller. But it's wrong to think that you could go to any fish store here and buy what you want. Sometimes it's hard to find some species because mostly sellers only export fishes!!!! Sabbertooth tetras as example are not so common for us!!! Boullengerelas too as many other fishes. There are some fishes like: gulper catfish or lynx catfish that almost any fish that is collected is exported.
Some fishes are very expensive for us too, but others are cheap. A leopoldi sting ray BD here costs something like; 1000-1500 U$....but hoplerythrynus cost 15 U$.

Crazy country :-)

D.

I had the yellowtail cuda. It got up to 8inch" then it died on me..Would not mine having another. they are more community safe then the red

Maybe a smaller tank with only an erythrynus could be a better idea... :-(

you can try the cohab.if your willing to risk it. It all depends on how the wolf is. more hiding places/ plants etc.better chance.

yeah imo it all depends on the temperament of the wolf. I got mine when it was the size of a pinky 2-3" stick lol. now its around 5" and thick. I had danios, silver dollars. The danios were bigger and faster.they still got chomped. came to school to find a danio in half. then few days go by.find another. he wiped all 3 and beat the silvers dollars to crap. didnt want to risk cichlids. its either shredded fins for one or a busted lip.

Cool...

I'm thinking about red tail kuda group, but I like yellow tail too. Is it possible to form a shoal with yellows and reds or yellow ones will eat red ones?
