I just got a 49 gallon bowfront I plan on keeping a pair of convicts in it are there any other things I can keep with them cichlid wise and if not cichlids what do you recommend?

If they pair up they could get pretty agressive

Some bottom feeders, perhaps....some armoured cats

Yeah but if they pair up and they probably will, the cats and plecos will eat the eggs. . .

Yay more large fish for your ssmall tanks. Why do you always need to have the largest fish for your small tanks? I just got red ceibals and I love them so far so I would get red ceibals. Or an ospodoras cat? It looks like a Niger but gets 4.5".

Where can I find opodoras cats?im thinking of just a male con but I'm not too sure.i need ideas!
