it looks like one of the parents has a siamese gene... the kitten looks sorta like a siamese cat... aside from the dark face.. but the blue eyes and white hair are def trait of a siamese cat..
It's not the end of the world. I already have two dogs and two cats.
There was another that looked like the one posted in the picture and 3 black ones.
The other white one looks even more like a siamese cat. That was the one I really wanted to bring home but my sister wouldn't let me.
recessive kitty is recessive! Both parents must carry the gene for colorpoint restriction. Dilution too, since pretty kitty is a blue-point. Colorpoint is cool, it's temperature responsive; if the animal is constantly at cooler temps, the body stays pale, if warm the body will darken. A friend has a purebred Siamese who spends a great deal of time on a glassed-in sunporch and out in the garden, and he's toast colored; when he lived in the city in A/C all the time, he was ivory.
That looks like a blue-point Birman (see my avatar). I have one and they're gorgeous and total darlings.
Does your sister have plans to get the momma cat fixed? No offense, but the world is filled with beautiful, sly, and wonderful kitty cats. There are few responsible explanations for having pet cats breed.
