Stolen Fish!

A real hobbyist would have never have smashed the tank and let the other fish die. I'm guessing the thieves probably don't even have the proper tanks to house the fish. Why would'nt they just net out the fish they wanted instead of doing so much damage to the store? Sounds like maybe somone had somthing against the store owners.

It said they stole all the most expensive fish and then smashed the tanks to leave the rest of the fish dead, they even threw the parrot cage with the parrot in it into the small indoor pond. If it was only wanting to get back at the store owners for something I'm guessing they would have just smashed all the tanks and left all the fish for dead rather than targeting the most expensive ones and taking them.

how easy would it be for the owners to have done this themselfs if they were in need of some money? Save back the expensive fish in their homes in holding tanks where they could be safe, then smash and trash the store, get money for the expensive fish, renovate, bring back the expensive fish and sell them for pure prophet. and on top of all that great publicity on how could people be so cruel and crazy that they would do such a horrible thing.

True but Its probably one of the first things the police would do especially if the Owners put in an insurance claim would be going to their home to look for the stock they were claiming to have lost. If they had the fish insured yeah much more possible but to smash the tanks then use the insurance money to buy new tanks and new stock seems like they could have just set the place on fire and gotten more out of it if insurance fraud were the case.

yes but a fire can be hard to fake as not arsin, a robbery is easy. Besides who says the tanks are at the owners place? I am sure you could easily stash something somewhere if you needed to? A friends or family?
