if you dont live in an area with natural rocks you like (free), i would suggest visiting a landscaping supply shop (expensive).

Try to avois reddish sand stones and any with high metal contents ot high carbonate contents.

i want to keep a turtle in the pond but i don't want it to escape so i was thinking of bordering the pond with bricks or flat stones.
would this still be a nice looking pond or should i change something?
