What do you mean die fast? sickness or age? Because an 18 incher will be pretty old and will probably take no other food but live coral and maybe some algea.
I have had him for about 4 months and he eats flakes, formula one and two frozen foods, Peas, brine shrimp, and he will sometimes nibble at some krill.
wat i mean is some stores say they will not survive long in a tank
they say they will look fine for a few months but den dey die with no cause of death
i have ben dealin with saltwater and freshwater for 8 years so i no wen a fish has signs of illness is this true wat they say i dont thk so but u never no
oh an also will rainbow parrots and stoplight parrots fight if i put them in the same tank?
Ive kept parrots b4 but not these particular specimens

one more thing one guy i talked to says u need to put peices of live rock in the tank every week so they can nibble on it can i have dead rock but it has algae on it will eat that instead

chiller broke las night soim not gettin them til i get a new chiller probly tomorrow
