stories of an aro breaking glass?

i probably shouldnt ask this but......lol

has anyones aro ever broke a piece of glass??

or has anyone ever heard of it happening??

my aro hits the tank so hard sometimes the lids rattle and it worries me

he is 2'+ so it isnt a lil guy bouncing off the glass anymore lol

my tank is all 1/2" with 1/4" top glass

There's no way he could break 1/2" glass! Even 1/4" would be extremely hard for him to break. You might want to get him a helmet though!

ya a few times i thought he was out for the count

bad part is his lip is tore up now

Keeping fingers crossed my aros will not become jumpers ...so far no jumping. I have a canopy so i will add some more weight.

I doubt aro can break 1/2" glass (i use this on my 100+g tanks).

My friend's gar broke 7mm glass tank during moving for adoption - no one (including gar) were injured

I havent heard of breaking the glass, but I have heard of them moving the glass, or jumping so powerfully they knock the glass off the top and jump out...

How big is the tank that you have your Monster Silver in? What are the dimensions? Any chance we can see pics of both the Silver and tank?
