STORM AFTERMATH! hope everyone is well

Hope everyone is ok, and avoided any type of animal/pet/fish loss.

I live in an area that always loses power, and thankfully I did not lose any power. I had my supplies all set up. Generator/reflective emergency blankets to wrap around the tanks/plastic bins and hand warmers for the reptiles, and lastly and most importantly... a bucket of grilled chicken from KFC lol.

I was hoping for a power outage but no luck. I spent a ton on my home generator and it's only run 4 hours in 2 years

Luckily the snow was light enough the snow didn't pile not did it ice on the wires. We got 28"-30"

Here in the UK if we get 6 inches of snow, its chaos; literally everything shuts down, goes into disarray

I'm in southwest Texas and it's like that here. We get a little snow once a year and it shuts down the city lol

Well after a snow storm I think in 2007 or 2008 I bought a small generator just in case of an outage.
