Silver arowanas aren't suppose to be aggressive, unless it's to eat a smaller fish, right?

My 12 in. silver is attacking one of the oscar in his tank. After they are all fed, he swims a bit lower from the surface and chases after the 6 in. "albino" oscar until he either bites it or the poor fish swims for cover. Then, he seems to "patrol" the middle level of the tank, and will immediately attack if the oscar dares to leave its hiding place(behing a large rock one corner). He leave the other tiger oscar(who's slightly bigger than the other) alone and completely ignores the other ciclids who are much smaller.

They have been completely peaceful together up until now and I had them together for a couple of months. Is this normal at all? And there's no way I've accidently bought a jar.

Well that's odd. But sometimes my fish attack each other for no reason. Maby it is becasue the oscar was in the Aros way.

Maybe its really a jardini with a silver arowana costume:ROFL:. That's really odd I never seen a very agressive arowana. Maybe he hates your oscar.

i agree, my silver aro hated a rtgg i had, almost killed it twice, beat the crap out of it bad. all the other fish in my tank were exempt from tha *** whopping. sometimes fish dont like other fish. ditch the oscar or one of em is goona end up dead one day from a fight.
