I wanna say their fighting... my blood parrots use to do that all the time... be careful with that... next thing you know you'll have a blind datnoid (if you know what I mean)...

they're fighting for territory, which looks like your intake tube. i have found indos to be the nastiest dats. ngt's will kick arse to get another one out of the way, but my indo will pick another dat and pester him for minutes at a time.

i have a real bull on my hands. as soon as i drop the brine in the tank he'll eat whats around him. and when he sees the other try to eat he begins to chase them away from THEIR spot. its knda cool because i have 3 of them and they kind work as a team, the 2 that always gets bullied that is. when he chases one, the one that isnt being chased eats his share. then he causes a diversion for the other to eat.
