Don't think anyone who has posted is offended, I personally just find it funny how people vent on the internet about other people on the internet and then try to make it seem like other people have the problem and take it too seriously lol.

Agreed^. Seems like everyone is so sensitive about things now a days. Things get taken the wrong way on the Internet so much. Someone may read it one way and someone else another. Just let it go and continue your day nothing on here is meant to offend people. ( Usually)

..........This thread is observational. I do find some of the threads strange. Undeniably so. This is the off topic area. And it has struck me that we have gone from dissussing the finer points of fishkeeping, to now seeing threads like "Do you talk to your fish?" ............

No "finer points of fishkeeping" have gone.
There have always been threads on "the lighter points" of fishkeeping. it's just having fun conversation with people in the same hobby. the people are not strange or different from big-time serious fish hobbyists. just down to earth.

Yes, it was. Why not? Everything else is pretty much discussed around here. Do you not find some of the postings on here strange? Im not sure where I'm wrong?

You are right though, the vast majority of threads are still about fish keeping, but come on, you don't even see my point just a little bit? Just a little?

+1, guy was just making an observation.

when he used the word "different" people took that as a negative thing automatically and responded. doesn't seem like ts meant it as a negative thing but he was kind of pushed into a corner
