I think he means he could see all the crap on the glass bottom when there was no gravel.
Try adding some fine filter floss to your filter for a while till it clears up. Also do a thorough gravel vac too.
 
No I didn't change any water... What helps with amonia? I have prime but I usually add that upon cleaning the tank. Maybe tonite when I get home ill just do a gravel clean with a 30 gallon water change and see if that helps then re-treat the water with my usual chemicals :
Cycle
Prime
Tap water conditioner
Salt
 
Test for ammonia and make sure that's not the problem. If the tank is cycled and everything else is fine it probably either sediment from the gravel that will clear up pretty quickly or a bacteria bloom. For some reason some tanks have issues with bacteria blooms, they are harmless, just ugly to look at. A UV sterilizer will fix the bacteria issue.
 
My tank is right by a window that would cause it? Imma have the water checked tomarrow
