That may of been a rule at the Park, but he is full of ****. I would of told him to get the paperwork out and show me where to sign. Think of it this way. States have their own laws and then the Feds have theirs. In Maryland the law says you can have Dwarf Snakeheads, but the Lacey Act bans them in the US. In your case the Park would be the "State" and FWC are the "Feds" The Feds want you to kill them if you catch them. Not to mention I am not cutting my line and losing a Lure. Some of those things are expensive

They don't grow very fast and they don't get to be more then a 12 inches ..they are nice missunderstood cats...85gal sounds fine to me but it depends on the tank mates ..

mine grew to 18inches in under a year and a half, these things grow.

of course and i feel he should never have done that to you and your friend the threats etc ..if he wanted it killed he should have done the task..its different if you actually suspect someone..but coming upon two young guys that was a bit much..

I feel honoured we can have them in Canada lol. We've gotten in some of the African walking cat species at work. Some of them get quite large, in excess of four feet and over 50lbs (Bathyclarias gigas).

I used to have some. 3 jumped out of my pond and I guess must've wondered in the backyard until they dried up and the other one was attacked by my Jaguar Cichlid. The last one I had was fine with other fish. It would hang with the TSNxRTC I used to have.
