Nice! Seems like everyone is getting Ball Pythons these days, I feel so left out Wasn't the Leo in a hex tank?
Oh, and I've heard that Boiids are easier to feed when all but the front pane of glass are darkened or covered, just FYI

Yep, Leo was in a 50g Hex but he got a downgrade for now. He'll get a bigger tank once we move, we are running low on space at the moment. He comes out daily and walks around though, the couch is his second home.

I read the same about keeping the tank dark, I'll either paint the outside glass or make some moss/rock walls inside. This isn't a perma home though, he'll get a pimp daddy enclosure once we move and have more space for me to build.

Ah, cool. IMO a 20 long is fine for a Ball Python. Supposedly they have agorophobia and prefer to have somewhat tight quarters. Beautiful snake.

Fed the Ball tonight for the first time. We got a frozen and live fuzzy mouse, we tried the frozen (Thawed in hot water) and he took it within 3 seconds. It was pretty small so we gave him the other one too, but I dispatched it first and fed in the same manner as the frozen was. So we'll just get frozen for now on, that was easy.
