Its a breeding behavior. This is not the first time I have seen CB Senegal males displaying/pestering other species. If the male is particularly amorous, he may try to bite his lust targets tail. Other than that, just weird behavior. Wonder if WC do the same thing?

Thats exactly what my sen does to my ornate. The sen chases the ornate all around the tank shaking his head against the ornate while the ornate swims away. I tried adding a female sen, but it did not deter him.
