strange stocking Q

sure trout can outgrow the tank, but i also had LMB in a 55g for 4 years and they didnt grow to more than 6inches. anyways kinda piontless, i picked up a Tilapia Buttikoferi earlier today
 
a 4yr old bass should be 2-3lbs and over 15in. it was stunted. as for the chiller (which you said u dont need now) ive heard of ppl taking a mini fridge, running a coil of tubing through it and pumping the chilled water into the tank. and using a heater to mantain the temp. would cost the price of a used fridge, tubing and a pump if u dont have one
