I've always just given my fish a variety of fish food, flakes, pellets, krill, bloodworms, beefhearts, you know all common fish foods. However, I hear all the time about people giving their fish [like an Oscar which I also have]...different human type foods...I'd llike to venture into new type foods for fish like...Oscar, Frontosa, Green Severum, Pacu, Red Tail Cat. What is the most un-common food you've given a fish?

try slugs. the topic popped up on here a week opr two ago, and it was apparently agreed that the fat little slimey buggers would make a nice little food source

I used to have this metal frame tank with no lid(found it on the sidewalk,put out for trashday)and in it I kept a wolf fish,went to bed and the next morning I came down to see the butt end of a mouse sticking out of the wolf"s mouth.It must have fallen in during the night and it took a while before the tail disapeared.

Slugs Really?? I'm sure my oscars would turn their noses up at that, i bought meal worms from a guy the other day who told me that his oscars love Macdonalds an KFC
