These are hilarious, makes me want to get one =) Anyone know how they fare with ebjds?
I have a tank with upper jaw and ebjd, ornates are kind of nippy so I would go with the palmas, delhezi, senegals...exc and grow out your ebjd so they arn't expensive feeders.

"Do you have any cool species of polypterus in stock?" "Yes we have brown ones and we have yellow ones."

Bahahahaha! I went to a new LFS the other day and I noticed some really young channa micropeltes. I almost **** my pants when I seen them because NO ONE here has been able to get in any. I went up to an employee, playing dumb and I asked

"What kind of Snakehead are those?"
He replied with,
"Oh, they're regular Snakeheads, they get pretty big"

I ****ing lol'd.

Neither one of those quotes are too bad. lol At least in both cases they had a general idea what the fish was. One time I asked a store about polypterus and they took we to the saltwater section to look at polyps. haha

Haha really, thats adorable. I asked about a polypterus in one store, and I got looked at like I was retarded. In another store, this guy whipped out a book and he was all omg another poly fan and showed me every type he can get in store. It was pretty sweet. I wish all LFS employees were like that.

I know its not that bad that he actually knew what it was. But a 3" SH was in an aquarium with 6" hujetas and 8" gars. The poor baby looks like he had escaped jaws of death a few times. He's now safe in my tank :)
