Stream Themed Tank

Since I decided to go with Dace instead of the Killies or Mummichogs, I put the other tank on hold for use at a future time. I have been working on this new design. Here is the work in progress:

Fun experience this morning. I decided my newer pumps did have the enough flow, so I broke out one of my older pumps. Well apparently there was a bit of stray voltage. That was quite the shock.

I’ve had that happen to me also, but with saltwater.
GFCI can save your life.
I like the idea. I’ve got a couple 40 longs I’m considering doing a stream tank sometime also.

Yah I have to hook it into the GFCI, I put in. I've been shocked 2 times in my life once about 5 years ago, and the other about 12, but those were very minor nothing like this. Lesson learned for sure.

Blacknose , their color has improved a lot now that they have settled in.
