Could be done.....

Just kinda of a large oval with the current/power heads pushing the water, witht he filters right behind them catching the waste.....one big whirlpool kinda.... :thumbsup:

a large 3/4 oval attached to a 1000g pond :naughty:
 
I've been thinking about it and I think it would be cool to do a native stream. I'm thinkin about doin that this summer in my basement now. I already made my minnow trap and everything haha.

a rich bud of mine way back had a massive hallway around a part of his house all glassed in with a pond/stream about 20" long 2 " wide his wife kept pond plants in it it was all cement with fake field stone on the exposed parts looked nice always thought it would cool to keep fish in wouldnt be hard .
 
one of the larger hospitals in the next city over has a huge stream system running through the first floor with a large atrium/pond at the end of the loop, no fish unfortunately, wish i had pictures

Im in ft. myers right now.
 
what you have to do is build a stream that unloads into a round basin. the water flows in on the and and follows the edges making a whirlpool current that keeps all the water surculating(or however you spell it).have an inlet skimmer like whats on pools with big tubing inside. have a pump at the top of the stream that picks ip the water at the bottom through the tubing. then use the pumpto push the water down the stream. youll probobly need a powerful pump like a pool pump to surculate the water.
