That is what that professional group charges, private party could be anything. I've seen up to 500 which in reality is ridiculous. When we set up private sessions amongst friends if someone new goes up its $40 to cover hooks (which you keep when your done) and a donation to help cover what we all Kaye's our to build the structure used, needles, gas, autoclave etc.... Large scale events usually go for 100-150 in az. As for how long there is no time limit unless we're talking multiple suspendees and only a few suspenders. Otherwise as long as you have people willing to hold you up, your up. Everyone's different but most new people go up for about 10-30 minutes

Why do people hang? That just seems so bizzare. Sure getting a tatoo or your tongue pierced I can understand, but what does hanging even do? I mean who the hell came up with just hanging. Now that I don't understand.

Not my cup of tea honestly, but neither is church or running marathons--as long as people who choose to do such things get something out of it, who am I to judge?

But since it was brought up, What is the attraction Savannah? Is it like a high?
 
People do it for different reasons. A few because the pain, others actually due to back problems, go up by your knees and it releaves a lot of spinal pressure. It does give you a high due to the overload of endorphins. My first time was due to curiosity and to prove to myself I could do it. Now because it's a lot of fun. It sounds weird but the pain is minimum and you get to swing around and "fly". There's nothing like it!

^ i've also heard of the spiritual excuse as well, saying its supposed to be very calming when your suspended in the air...
