Nice! Beautiful fish, especially the 3rd pic. It's going to be awhile for they show up here.

6 more days till our season opens, and ill be joining you with them cows over the rails :)

leaving in about 5 minutes to take my boat out for a shakedown run and try and c&r any schoolies :D:D:D

Boy, I could have been catching those guy's all winter, but they staiyed outside of the 3 mile line all winter. We have them in the ocean during the winter months, my personal best so far was 62 lbs. Big ole' cow. The smallest I've caught out there was about 35". Good fishing, if your tough enough. Now, they've all moved into the bay. No fishing for stripers for us, Virginia doesn't allow c&r for stripers.

Truth be told MD shouldn't allow it till season opens, but I'm sure that will be taken away sooner or later. I typically only go once to do a shakedown cruise and test all my rigs. Too much chance of gill hooking a fish and killing it pre spawn.

These were my 1st trip out, won't be back out till the 2nd day of season 4/19.

Have you seen many with mycobacteriosis in the bay?

Not this time of year typically but in late summer we see some nasty looking fish with a lot of bloddy spots on them.
