striped bass grow extremely slow! it takes 10 years for them to reach 10 lbs and that's in the wild.

You would need a giant fish tank to house these monsters plus cold water is needed.... A tank as big as the ones at Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's would be good for these monsters.

The ones u see at bass pro are hybrids. a cross between a striped bass aka rockfish and a white bass. So they can live in fresh watter,. and even they get 20 pluss pounds and up
