Mines 2 years old+. 3-4" and is a good eater. True on the slow growth, and will try to get pics. soon.
They go for $14 apiece here. They are a beautiful fish though. I love mine and see him often too. Because of how I have his cave setup, right against the front glass of my 75g tank, I see him everyday...lol.
I got two of them a few weeks ago and they hide but come out to explore the tank and eat all the time. I got them on sale for $3.99 so I thought I got a good deal. Mine are great eaters, I just feed them later at night.

my raphael lives in a tank with no decors so i can always see it. i'm done with one year not seeing them at all because it hides underneath the DW. they are really passive and slow growers. not much activity from them at all.
