For long time striped raphael keepers, what are some of the best foods to feed them? I know variety is key but what specific foods are best for them?

More seriously though. I feed 3 different Kens sinking pellets, NLS AlgeaMax and what ever else I have on hand. I have 4-5 striped in a 260g and 2 in a 220.

I feed mine good-quality sinking pellets. They will eat anything that can fit in their mouth, though (like most catfish).

They enjoy Malaysian trumpet snails if your not adverse to adding them. I also feed the occasional bloodworm or piece of shrimp and it's kept mine happy since 1992.

Mine eats hikari sinking carnivore pellets and hikari cichlid gold - pretty much whatever the rest of the fish miss.
