my rapheal isn't like the ones i normally hear about, mine rarely hides and swims around the tank, almost all the way to the top. is this normal?

I rarely see my raphael at all..... he is always hiding in the driftwood somewhere I akaways think maybe he has gotten swallowed or something.... but once I clean out the tank he is there... kinda weird he up the top...... did you check your para? could be lack of oxygene or something gasping for air at top? I dunno..... maybe.... some fish can just be different....

i have one that is 7inches and he pretty much does the same thing only hides when his belly is full

this one doesn't go to the top, he just swims around like a normal fish. my whole tank is a section of caverns and caves, so there's plenty of hiding spots

sounds pretty normal to me

i thought i would ask seeing how some peoples they hardly ever see but mine doesn't want to get out of size

Mine hides and doesnt come out till the lights are off.

This is what mine does. it might be normal but its not for me. might just be different fish do different things

I'm quite jealous that yours swims around all day. I only see mine after dark, or during cleaning, but he quickly hides again.
He used to come out for the odd catfish wafer, but not recently. A little worried he's not eating anything. What do you feed yours?
