i agree but dam nice fish. And yeah resivores useualy have hybrid strippers stocked in them. Im in baltimore i got o harford county and fish the susquehana for them . They go into fresh watter rivers but they stay more in the brackish side. when spawning. great fun

I'd have to agree 100%. I've had fat 49" stripers weigh only 30-37lbs

I've had and I've dripped them from salt to fresh with no long term issues.


As for keeping stripers, no way you can eat all that. One of the smaller fish is plenty for you and to give some away. We need to practice catch and release to keep the stocks high!

i grew up in a bait shop and have weighed a million fish i agree 20-22lbs but nice fish.
