Stripping Cichlids

Is it okay to strip the female a day or 2 after you see her holding and put it into a tumbler or do the babies have to become little babies with egg sacs on them? I have always waited till they had little sacks on the, but my fish just started holding again and was wondering if I could put them into the tumbler? Thanks guys

So mad that in fact I am turning my 125 gallon into a show tank and my 55 is now a rockless caveless breeding tank with a male electric blue and females. I am going to put some slate over the ground so they will mate on that and maybe have one or 2 caves, but nothing much.. I am tired of chasing them around the tank full of rocks lolol

should show tails on eggs in 4 days then head etc.. after 48 youll know whats up with eggs.. fungus hits around 24... after 48 if no fungus your good to go...what kinda of substrate is that?

lol... Hopefully no fungus she is an ahli female that spit the eggs are now in there along with the eggs from that other fish that was 1.5 inches lol hopefully the eggs will grow and do well and my male ahli just wants to keep breeding so I might go get him some more females
