what is the better choice WOOD OR ROCK???????????

or if their is somthing else for structure tell me better tell me

It depends on the fish mostly. Most keepers will try to replicate a natural environment for the species they keep. An example would be mostly rocks for Cichlids and drift wood for a native tank (of course, depends on the region). But...most keepers will also mix it up some. I have rocks and driftwood both (along with several live plants) in all my tanks. You try hard to make the tank a healthy, comfortable and natural "world" for your fish...but at the end of the day, you as the keeper have to be happy with it as well.

Depends if you want your ph high or low usaully wood makes it go down and rock makes it go up. But for looks that's your choice.

For catfish, stick with wood. They can rub on stone and that can cause ulcers/sores and missing spines, etc. Otherwise, I use slate in most tanks because I can buy 2' by 2' sheets of it for pennies at the landscaping store.

try both

Both ...with plants if you can. This is pretty much all you'll find in a natural trash-free environment, so I wouldn't use anything else.

I use rock myself (and lots of fake plants) low ph outta the tap and there is a stream with a lot of nice rocks right across the street from me. Drift wood out here starts at 15$ for a small stick, 40$ for something interesting, which will then require bleaching, soaking, bleaching, soaking, soaking, weighting, waiting, soaking. I might try collecting some bog wood this spring when I'm out in the bottoms.
I do like the look of wood.
I also like the look of my tanks.
