Structured Water

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Going to start building out a 18 x 50 ft fish room next week that will house a 6000 gallon 18x9 swimming pool and a 20x8 (10 x 8 sand area) FRT breeding project. I'm the crazy guy who dragged two fellow MFKers and drove half way across the US to pick up the 2 pairs of FRT's that were offered for sale a few months ago.

Awesome Vince!!!

I look forward to the build thread.
Out of curiosity why couldn't you use a HMA filter rather than RO then you have no waste water

+1

I run HMA, only on a tiny set up compared to your epic planned frt ponds, but yes, main reasons I use it is zero waste and it doesn't strip the water like an RO unit

I run 2 RO membrane back to back
You run the waste from the first membrane to the second membrane this gives you much less waste

I read one of your threads depicting this(great read btw)... but honestly, it's still a whole lot of waste water plus a lot of work changing out the membranes every few months.

There isn't one yet.. but we do have lots of pics from that trip. Might put together a thread on the trip.....when time permits

Awesome, love to see the thread.
Good luck with the breeding programme, what a project!
