Three are sick right now. They keep scratching/flashing until they have red sores. Does that ever happen to yours? I think one of yours looks like it had it in the past and fully recovered. If you are not sure what I am talking about, I am referring to the one with black spot on its side in your video at 1:42-1:46.

Yeah ive had them get it in the past. Start doing 50% water changes once a week, cut back on feeding abit, use salt, and pimafix. Do this until the sores are gone. This got rid of sores. It was weird they showed no signs of anything...then one day i noticed something that looked like a zit and before i knew it ...it was a sore but thats what i did to get rid of it and they have been fine since.

Nice vid FW.... :-)

you know your tiger fish well, but I always thought it a bit risky feeding crayfish... I would worry the sharp bits of Shell could damage the fish insides. Yours seem fine though...

Then again , a 14 inchers powerful bite would crack the shells quite easily.

Oh yeah when they hit the crays the bust them right up. I was doing a water change yesterday and while i was doing it i was wiggling my finger in the tank at my biggest dat and he or she bit it!! It friggin freaked me out i rip my hand right out of the tank as a reaction. Thats the first time any ever did that. The rest of the time doing the water change the dat kept scoping out my hand. Plus you have to remember theses guys eat stuff like this in the wild so they have the right stuff to eat them.

Happened to me once :-) , I did the same thing! Water everywhere. It's the noise it makes when snaps !

Nice. Cool dats, you got some interesting patterns on them ;)

Thanks for the advise. Did they stop scratching right away when you started treating them, or did they still scratch during treatment but slowly stop scratching eventually?
