I am shooting between 80-84. But it seems my one heater wont be able to do it. I have been raising the temp on it but the temp in the tank its self has only hit 78. So I might have to get a second heater for it first

I got this jager 200W for my 40 gallon breeder tank. Petsmart has it on sale online most of the time and offers some off when bought online and picked in store.
Little overkill on the wattage for a 40 breeder but a very good heater man. good deals on amazon aswell. Every heater from 25-300 watts is around 30 bucks.

I paid $19, 150 was actually expensive than 200 at that time. My let my house temperature go down 60 at night, so keeping tank at 80 is hefty job. I am planning to use this filter in 75 gallon tank when I get it.

I already have a 300w in my 75. Should I get a second 300w or what wattage should I get?

Probably just a low quality heater. 300w should be more than enough for a 75. Typically people will either do a 300W for a 75 or two 150Ws incase one of the heaters dies on them they still have one to hold them over.

I would vote for second heater 200-300W than upgrading current and keep it on other side of tank.
Yeah I would definitely replace the current heater but two of that wattage is too much for a 75. 2 150Ws or single 300W.
