earthworms never fail to get them feeding in my experience. Also it will get longer than the tank its in lol.
Might want to think about an upgrade soon:D
sound advice worms are always enjoyed especially by bichirs.

IE if I went bichir fishing earthworms would be my bait no doubt.

Its been 3 weeks now and im yet to see the endli eat.ive been throwin pellets in everyday and there still there the next day.i remove them and try again.Should i start to get concerned or will it eventually just eat? Surely it wont starve itself to death.

Mine endli has been picky too he is around 5" and I was so excited when I got him I forgot to ask what they were feeding him at the lfs...I have tried blood worms and he will pick at those eating like 3-5 worms...ignores shrimp and pellets. But he has at least gobbled down a feeder guppy...I don't want him eating live but I want him to at least eat!

Go to the market and buy some fresh beef heart. Bring it home, cut it up into manageable chunks or strips and try offering it like that. Variety is the spice of life. Other than that watch the fish for signs of illness and watch the water quality like a hawk so you know for certain that this hunger strike isn't a side effect of a more serious issue.

He just ate an earthworm thank god.Ill try to get a bit of size on him but im hoping he will get onto pellets soon cause when he hits the 8fta hes with alot of hungry fish to compete with.Fingers crossed.
