BTW, i don't think starting the class day, later might work cause some will just stay up later for exactly the reason you claim that it's physically impossible.
 
the majority of teenagers' sleep cycles are a few hours out of sync with adults, meaning the feel tired later and wake up later, that's why they go to bed at 11pm-1am and wake up around 9-10am. when people go into the sleep cycle melatonin is put into the body from the brain, and your body temperature drops, and yeah this happens in teens later in the evening.
