Stuegeon Shipping

I think a reality check would be appropriate here.
I have always wanted to keep Uaru fernandezyepezi but my water in Milwaukee is hard, alkaline and has a high TDS. I suppose if I had an RO unit, I could have, but was unable or unwilling to afford it, so I never got them.
I could have kept sturgeon, because for 10 months a year my basement hovered in the 50'to 60'F range. And my faucet temp ranges 40'F-60'F all tear round, so I could do a cool water drip.
I am now in Panama, and will not attempt Gymnogeophagus (one of my favorite genera) again because of the lack of temp swings.
I realize you want Siberian sturgeon in Arizona, but sounds to me like it may be an expensive equipment, and energy use proposition to do so correctly.
Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I have learned (also the hard way) to go with what works, no matter how much I want something.
