Alright, I have what looks like small almost transparent/white balls growing on the glass on my tank. If I let it go long enough it almost looks like water spots. I have to clean them off about every two weeks because it starts to look horrible, but it grows everywhere on the inside glass. Anybody have any idea what this is? My tank has been cycled now for about 2 weeks, but did this before the tank was cycled.

Could be hydra. They look like ball when they are closed up.

I am not sure if it is hydra or not. they dont seem to move, but I will take a closer look at them with a magnifying glass to give a better description.

I might have the same thing you have. Are they small and float on the top? bunch of mine are stuck in my inter-filter.

Sounds like snail eggs, that is exactly what Ramshorn snail clusters look like: water spots. Do you have a snail problem?

Agree....Egg snails look like small spots of jelly with very, very small(embryos) white spots in them...

You got a Dirty Tank!!!

I was in your situation a month ago. I cycled my tank and I got all these white thingy on the tank's glass, also some worms too. I did 30% water change every 3 days and avoid putting too much stuffs/food that can rot in the tank. Then it's gone!

ive got some litle white fluffy thing on my glass too, dont think much bout them tho.....
