Keep in mind that it was an overnight thing so if yours have been bulked up for a while and don't seem slouchy and breath super fast they're probably just nice and fat.

He's exactly 4". I've been feeding Massivore, Sinking Wafers and frozen Mysis Shrimp, all Hikari. One thought was that maybe it was a digestive thing.

Sounds like what I feed mine. Lots of different Hikari products with a little NLS thrown in.

I just randomly lost my guy as well.. He was fine and i've had him for a few months already. Then when i woke up this morning he was floating. No signs of anything wrong
