As far as your symtoms, you should go see your primary care and if you don't have one, go to the nearest ER- like ASAP.

Remember: the graveyard's full of folks that didnt have time to die!

On a serious note sounds like nerve damage. Even though it was only a small slash maybe the venom has worked its way to the nerve in the finger. Time to go and have it looked at I would say.
Has the wound totally healed after 2 months? I am no expert but if you still had a small part of the barb stuck in your finger you would think it would show signs of infection.
I did read somewhere on the web about a guy that got hit in the hand and his whole arm went numb for a long time (yrs). I will try finding that post again.

You might have to get used to the numbness. If it severed a nerve ending, it might be permanent/semi-permanent. FYI, I had surgury on my finger to remove a tumor and they severed a nerve to get to it. It still feels odd, but you get used to it. I hardly notice it now.

ive go to see a Dr he couldnt solve it so he refered me to a nerve specialist. Appointment is for next week i will let you know how it goes.
