MRSA bacterium can be found on skin, in nose, etc of otherwise healthy person and treatment isnt neccessary until something goes wrong - in this case an open wound with poison..imho the stung could trigger the infection..

MRSA is no fun what so ever. I can vouch with experience right now as we speak. In the last month I've been hospitalized twice now for more then a total of two weeks and I'm currently still on iv medications trying to get better.

I hope that your getting the cate and treatment that you need I feel your pain. Have you in my thoughts and prayers for a healthy and fast return to normal.

I came across this thread a little late, but hope that you get better. I work in a hospital myself and MRSA is something no one wants to hear. Good luck and prayers to you. BTW, I wouldn't blame the ray either, it was just acting naturally.
 
There was a man Jeremy wade interviews in Argentina who was lashed by a ray in parana river . The wound never healed for seven years. I'm so careless around my rays seeing your painful wound really is an eye opener probably for alot of us.
I really hope you heal up soon.

Doesn't anyone know this guy or atleast someone who does?

When someone stops posting its never a good sign.. i've been on here long enough to remember atleast 2 deaths of fellow mfkers and even though you don't know the guy personally it's truly sad as many of us feel some kind of connection to eachother..

I hope you heel up brother and that someone in his general area might check up on this guy!
 
some people say "PEE ON IT" but,,,,,,, I think some people are just looking for a good reason to pee on things!
