Stupid #$!@# Heater!!!!!

If you need to use heaters never use one. Use 2 smaller ones that way if one freaks out chances are the smaller heater will not do too much damage heat wise cause it can't keep up with the water flow.

Sorry to hear that. That is definitely one of the worst things that can happen in this hobby..

The only other suggestion I have is to not skimp on heaters. I switched to buying only Ebo Jaggers. they are more expensive but seem to be more reliable. Of course, nothing is 100% reliable, but cheap heaters seem to fail more..

Not accusing you of using a cheap heater, just more info for the thread..

It just sucks... i've had that fish for a while now, and he was the reason that my girlfriend got interested in the hobby. she loved that fish!!! i'll be getting two small heaters from now on. So i guess i'll keep you guys posted on what i put in there next, still dont know yet.
