If you have nitrite in your tank and no nitrate, your tank is not done cycling yet.

i no longer have nitrate bc after my nitrite had spiked i did like that website said for fishless cycling and did a 90 % water change to remove nitrates AFTER doin that i tested and everything was fine EXCEPT for nitrites
