I have a 15in CK and he doesnt eat feeders. I have had him with other fish and havent had a issue. But they were all around 10in. I have this one frontosa that is growing fast and hes becoming a bully sometimes. The frontosa is 4-5in. I dont want to get rid of him. Is there any chance I could put the frontosa in with the CK? If, not could I do it when the Frontosa is larger? Sorry for the stupid question. Im 99% sure what the answer is but I want to hear what you guys think. Thanks

Regardless how a predatory fish act with smaller (too big for them to eat) fish...you put a very small fish in there, it'll become food. You said it doesn't eat feeders, but is that because you don't feed it feeders or it actually leaves them alone? Fish small enough to fit in any predatory fish's mouth will set off instinct and usually becomes a tasty snack.

I dont feed him feeders. Im going to do some more research and decided what to do. Currently I have two frontosas, would a 75g be fine for life?

Hmm.. Frontosa's get large and beefy, I wouldn't put them in anything under 100 galllons.. The fronts would be able to live with the Clown Knife when it's large enough not to be eaten.

Alright. Its just that I can get a great deal on a 75g. I might go with the 75g, grow the the one frontosa out untill 10-12in and try putting him in with the CK. Does that sound like a plan?

I have a marineland penquin 200 and a Acquaclear for a 50g. I have them in a 30g so it was good filtration for the 30g. I may go with a Acquaclear 100 cuc I have one and love it. How long roughly does it take for a frontosa to be that size? Thanks.

I have 1 in a 220, i think it might be stunted, it's grown 1", maybe 2" in one year.

I know a guy who has bought over 300 fish in the hobby and he said Frontosas are either a hit or miss. Some grow fast while others grow very slow. I was just looking up the gph for my filters. Even though the max acquarium size is 50g. I did the calcualtions and I would have a turnover rate of 5.3 Would that work?
