Yes, there are some bad teachers out there, but I love it when students blame the teacher. I think we all know what that means!Hope you figure it out...lol
So what do you say about my situation? I grew up in a poor black area of tampa and I would say that 80% of the teachers I had expected that I would end up in prison. So if I ever went to them with a question, I was shot down. I guess that was somehow my fault too.
I have respect for Teachers. But I also know that a bad teacher can ruin hundreds of lives.
As a teacher I get this all the time, a kid not doing his/her homwork with the excuse " I didn't know you never told us". I then just wait for the rest of the class to do the scolding.Gr8KarmaSF;3435463;3435463 said:

If I did by some tiny chance forget to mention that word, I give them time to go through their homework to check for things they don't understand or I go through it with them. If a kid doesn't listen I leave him to sit and suffer with the homework. If he/she realises he/she doesn't understand, they usually fire away with questions. Its their job to ask me not mine to ask them. That's how my students learn.
As for the rest of you, if this keeps up I will issue detention to all of you.
